BIG SPRING, Texas (AP) — The mayor of Big Spring, Texas, says four people are hurt after the explosion that rocked an oil refinery this morning. It shook buildings miles away.
A spokesman for the refinery’s owner, Alon USA, says all of the workers have been accounted for. He said one worker was hurt, but Mayor Russ McEwen put that number at four, and said one of the workers was sent to a burn unit.
The company says the fire that was sparked by the blast is under control. It sent black smoke billowing into the sky, and shut down area schools and an interstate highway.
There’s no word yet on what caused the explosion.

Maybe stockholm. ;)I’ve lived mostly in the midwest (spent summers as a kid in Jersey around Sea Bright/Monmouth area) and women here are quite attractive. The only negative is they are usually nutso baptist/penecostal/etc. So outside of fucking them, they are pretty worthless.People rip on the UK but when I’m in London I see a shitload of good looking women. France not so much (to my dismay, looking for Laetitia Casta-ish women). Germany is outstanding as is Austria. Italy they are either one of the sexiest women you’ve seen or they are a troll (literally!). The Nordic women are phenomenal.Oh some of the hottest women I meet that are Oklahomans are from bumfuck Oklahoma. Ada for some reason has a shitload of hotties.

The thing about Spitzer is that he made his bones prosecuting victimless crimes like prostitution. He should never be prosecuted for what he did, but he’s also the kind of guy who would throw the book at someone who did … er … what he did. He’s hoist on his own petard! Eff him!

I am so glad to see Spitzer get taken down. Particularly since it’s the same petty-white-collar-crime tricks that he used to harass other people. However, we should be careful about how much power we give the state. Just because we’re watching the Feds beat up the bully who beats us up — that doesn’t mean the Feds are our friends.

She was an NYC hooker who hitched a train to DC for their … erm … appointment. But don’t let my “facts” get in the “way” of your “theory.”

Just a differnt aspect to Police State, people. This time, they “removed” someone who could “challenge” them down the line. NO ONE IS SAFE.http://www.mvp-seattle.com/pages/pageFascism.htm

Will you people just stop watching Fox and bitching about it? Please? It’s a dead network, everyone already knows it’s shit. If someone hasn’t realised that it’s total shit yet, they can’t be helped.Stop writing about them.

Okay, so I agree with the headline assertion, but:(1) There’s some unsupported anti-Obama innuendo at the top of the page that has nothing to do with anything;(2) The article reads like a bad letter to the editor and contains not so much as a single source, citation, or quotation.

How is +26 a big, big victory? Especially considering the southern states coming up?

Something about crossing state lines.I couldn’t agree more, fuck Spitzer. I feel for his kids & wife, that’s gotta suck.Oh and this furthers my assertion that there are few if any good looking women in the Northeast. If you have to go to DC to get decent hookers, there’s a problem ;)

Right-o. It’s like my argument against Bill Clinton. It’s not what he did, it’s why and how. I don’t remotely care that Bill got a blowjob in the Oval Office; more power to him, if he can get away with it (and he would have, if it weren’t for those meddling, eh, Prosecutors!). It wasn’t even the perjury, in and of itself, that even bothered me. Ask a guy, in a forum his wife will view, whether he’s cheated on her? Of course he’s going to lie.But the man was under oath for a civil sexual harassment suit, and his lie cost a woman her chance at pursuing justice. Hell, I even think arguments about whether it constituted an Impeachable Offense are justified (I’d say it didn’t), but I have a hard time believing that Bill didn’t deserve some sort of punitive judgement against him… but instead, other than a footnote in history, he pretty much got off scott free for, I think, two things (sexual harassment, and then perjury) that we like to think are fairly serious crimes.Likewise, I don’t really care, in and of itself, that Spitz was seeing a whore. I have to wonder why some intern wasn’t taking one for the team, though; at least that’s not patently illegal. Whore it up all you want, man. Just, for the love of all that’s holy and just in this realm, why did you have to go hit up the Executive Club and spend so much fucking money on it that it got the IRS’s attention? And even more, to do this after making your political career by railing against the very same crime? Class A Stupid, that. Class A Stupid.
