It’s higher in France, and we use it to build TGV. I certainly don’t mind!

Agreed. He can suck my magical cock if he thinks anybody will tolerate his bullshit and exorbitant rip off prices.

Isn’t MySpace basically loaded up with a ton of attention whores?

I guess what I am getting at is that ocean shipping is unbelievably inexpensive, especially considering these products don’t take up that much container space. While the time to market is certainly longer (I am not convinced it is much longer to Europe, maybe the East Coast of North America) the price will not be that much higher.

  7. Kayleigh on 14 Apr 2008 at 4:42 am

And where are those costs that justify doubling the price?

  8. Becka on 14 Apr 2008 at 5:33 am

I like the fact that people still use shipping costs as a legitimate excuse for high prices. The Harmonix rep refers to it as if there should be no question. How is it that shipping to Europe is any more expensive than North America when it is all coming from China!?Shipping costs, especially by boat are such a small fraction of costs now that it really isn’t an issue.

I’m not buying it until they drop the price and anybody who does is a fool.We have to vote with our wallets to stop this shit happening now or the cost of normal games will increase as well.

  12. Jenna on 14 Apr 2008 at 8:55 am

I should hope it does! Overseas shipping is getting cheaper, as well.

  13. Winfred on 14 Apr 2008 at 9:45 am

WTF are you talking about? They are not making it in Europe. What fucking cost? To ship it?

  14. Letty on 14 Apr 2008 at 10:36 am

Harmonix can go fuck themselves. It’s bad enough that europeans pay a shitload more but Harmonix’s patronising attitude towards it all makes me wish Rock Band flops so bad. Fuck Harmonix, fuck EA, fuck Rockband. While you’re crying over how bad Rock Band was a flop I will be rocking out on Guitar Hero 3, a game that’s actually in my price range.

One issue is … I can’t read :-) Requires Rock Band game - sold separatelyBut that’s only another £40. I reckon … in about 3-6 months it’ll be down to a reasonable level. And did we actually all finish the other Guitar Hero games?
