This article is sloppily written (big surprise coming from McPaper). He didn’t get shot because he was acting weird. He got shot because he had a gun. The police asked him to put it down. He didn’t. There were dozens of innocent people around. They didn’t know if he was going to open fire or not.
Yet another example of how lack of proper planning results in poor execution of technique.

A crazy man entered the Colorado Capitol building and started acting weird. Then he got shot. The world is a somewhat messed up place.
What the fuck is with the shot at love show on MTV? I was dog sitting over thanksgiving and freakishly she only got MTV and BET, and the Leprechaun “horror” movie was on BET and the shot of love show was on MTV and it is by far the worst thing I’ve ever seen ever. I started punching myself in the head afterwards, trying to dislodge the memoryof the episode I had just watched (the one where one bitch tried to kick the other bitch’s ass after the tattoo bitch told the one bitch that she was outie 5000 (aka, she no longer “has a shot at love”), then the attacker bitch went and laid down by the front door and refused to leave, and was crying and yelling to the tattoo bitch thatshe loved her and the other bitch was crying and everyone was like -Daaaaaamn) - and then the show was over and I was like - AAAARRRGHHH!!!! How can I erase this horrible bullshit waste of time crap from my brain as soon as possible!!!
It was probably a combination of both. Here is a quote: “‘He made some threatening-type statements,’ Jackson said.” So it was what he was saying, and probably not complying with what security had asked him to do.
You should check out the “I love New York” show. You’ll want to kill yourself and take your neighborhood with you. God knows why programming execs think this shit is good.
