Is it just me, or did other readers look at who’s scheduled for ‘This Week’ and wonder what inane questions Stephanopoulos would come up with for them? (That debate didn’t change my mind about the candidates, but it sure changed my mind about Stephanopoulos.)

Don Frederick has served as an editor helping guide coverage of every presidential election since 1984. He is a third-generation Washingtonian, so watching the political world comes naturally to him.
A graduate of Northwestern University, he was a reporter for newspapers in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas before joining the (now-defunct) Los Angeles Herald Examiner in 1983. Hired by The Times in 1989, he has worked in its Washington bureau since 1996 — a perch providing him a close-up view of the impeachment of President Clinton, the government’s response to 9/11 and the day-to-day wrangling of the two major parties.

Because the large media companies who own these networks need the republicans to deregulate them so that they can create a larger presence in each media market and buy up all of their competition in these markets. At present , there are limits on how many radio and TV stations a company can operate in a single market.
What? I thought Sunday was the day of rest.
To protect and serve… themselves.Think about it. Who are these people? They’re bullies with control issues who couldn’t get a better job anywhere else. Their primary job consists of administering fines to people who drive slightly too fast. It would be one thing if they were actually keeping people safe, but instead they’re just meeting their quotas. Oh… I mean, performance requirements. I’m sorry, I’m just really fed up with law enforcement in general.
As Kos likely considers anyone to the right of him a conservative, this doesn’t mean much. There are too many lefties and conservatives in media.
roflyou are so out of touch with realitythe police are not our servants and never have been. They are servants of the aristocrats whose main purpose is to……. KEEP THE PEACE!Translation: Discourage the poor from rebellion, insurrection, revolution. Protect the privelege of the aristocrats from the violent and oppressed underclasses.”Keep the peace” is another way of saying, “Force the public to go along with what the powerful aristocrats in government tell them to do.”
